Of course, now, he pulls at my purse and tries to get into it constantly while saying "Pop, Pop, Pop".

Lollipop, Lollipop
Hunter decided he wanted to look through mommy's purse and found a Tootsie Pop during his exploration. He immediately said "OOOOOOOH. POP!" Ryan and I both looked at each other quizzically as neither of us have ever given him a lollipop before, but it was quite clear that someone has at some point. We decided to let him have it as a treat after dinner and he seemed to enjoy every lick!

Bath Bubble Fun
Hunter has started to flip onto his belly during bath time and was very pleased when he received a bubble beard as a result. We told him he looked just like Opa, which he loved!

Fun at Day Care!
So happy we found Miss Connie. Hunter just loves his time there and she always shares such great pictures from their days together!
Just like Jack!
So, apparently Hunter now likes to climb into empty boxes just like our cat. We received a package from our friends and it wasn't a minute after I put the box on the floor that Hunter sat in it!
18 Months Old!
Can you believe it? We can't!
It seems we no longer have a little baby, but instead a full fledged toddler has grown and taken his place! Hunter is absolutely hysterical and super silly now. He does the funniest things and he absolutely loves to entertain. He is very much a show off and will do anything for a laugh...have a feeling we have a true class clown on our hands! Lately he has been wanting to share his food and drinks with Jack the Cat and some of his favorite toys. He'll even make gulping noises when he holds his drinks up to their mouths. It is super cute!
At Hunter's 18 month check-up today, he weighed in at 30lbs 2ozs (92nd percentile) and was 34.5 inches long (95th percentile). He only had to get one shot today and he handled it like a champ, no tears, just a little surprised. And the best news, no more shots until he's 4 years old, except for flu shots.
We discussed with the doctor that Hunter knows at least 30 or so words, which he said was great and just what we would want to see at his age. Hunter is also perfecting his mobile skills, he now runs everywhere and he keeps getting faster and faster!
He continues to be a great eater. He actually eats everything that we do, and feeds himself most meals with a spoon and fork. He also is a great tooth brusher! He opens his mouth up wide and says "ah" when we are brushing his teeth and then he will take the brush and do it himself for awhile too. He even lets us brush his tongue and sticks it out so we can get to it better. He's such a good boy, and such a big helper, too! He just loves to get a paper towel and "help" mom dust or clean off his hands and face and table after a meal. He also helps take off his shoes and coat and put them in the closet every day when we get home from Day Care. He is always so proud of himself when he can do any little thing to help us out, it just melts your heart!
Lastly, Hunter seems to be enjoying bath time more and more. He loves to get bubbles in the tub and will stay in there playing with his toys until after his water has gone completely cold. Lately, he has started flipping over on his tummy in the tub and pushing himself back and forth along the bottom and then will turn his head and place one whole side down into the water. He is our little fish and we can't wait to get him back to the pool and beach this summer!
It is impossible to list all the the amazing things Hunter does on a regular basis these days, but we've done our best here. We can only say that he is a complete joy and delight. Everyday is so much fun with him...he just lights up our world!
Here are some of our favorite pictures since his 15 month update!

Play Date!
The Stokely's had us over for a dinner at their place. It is always so nice to be able to get together with good friends, but I am really happy that Hunter and AJ play together so well.
While the adults were catching up, they entertained each other with coloring, riding toys around the house and getting into just about everything. Of course, their favorite game is running as fast as they can back and forth between the kitchen and living room while squealing at earsplitting pitches! Poor little Hunter can't quite keep up with AJ, but he sure has some fun trying.
We were there a bit past Hunter's bedtime and with all the activities he was really getting tuckered out. When I picked him up for a little cuddle, AJ pulled at my arm and said "Put Hutner down. Come on, Hutner" as he tugged him onto the next big game. He wasn't ready for the fun to stop and it was so darn cute to watch!
Trisha was a little angel, as usual. Didn't make a peep the entire time we were there, but certainly does give everyone the most radiant smiles! She is such a little sweetie!
A good time was had by all!

Drummer Boy
Hunter really likes his Opa's drum set! He started off banging away and that seemed fun enough, but once we put the headphones on him he really got into it, singing along to his beat and everything!
Snow Day!
Hunter finally got to enjoy a snow day with Mom and Dad this winter! We went out early to shovel out and built a snowman with the Seeley girls. After a nice nap, we went back outside to snow tube and dig a path for Jack out the back door! Of course, Hunter seemed to enjoy eating the snow best! Had a great day!
