The Turtle is Back...

Mason seems to enjoy this silly toy as Hunter did at this age.

"Catlicks"

Jack tried his best to fix all the cowlicks in Ryan's hair by replacing them with catlicks.

Baby's got a new crawl...

Mason is now up on hands and knees when he crawls, and not just that, he is also pulling himself up to standing! It's all happening so fast...he certainly is a mover!

Mason is especially intrigued by the hair in Jack's ears. I think the video says it all

Of note, you can see in this video that Mason's crawl is starting to transform, he still drags his legs a bit but is really starting to get up on his knees more regularly now.

CHOMP CHOMP!

Mason now has 2 more teeth, making 6 total! He really likes to use them too! He seems to prefer chewable food over his pureed/mashed meals. In fact, he will shift his whole body to look around his mashed food and stare meaningfully at our plates as if to say "I want what you're eating!"

Bath Time!

Mason LOVES bath time! As soon as we start running his bath water, he begins waving his hands in the air, squealing and tries to lunge forward into the tub while we are undressing him. Once in, he is all over the place; sitting up, laying down, it doesn't matter he just loves to be in there. I can't wait to get him in a swimming pool this summer to see how he reacts!

8 Months Old!

Whew...what a whirlwind it has been! Mason is like the tazmanian devil. When he sees something he wants he takes off after it and nobody better get in his way! He just does not sit still. In fact, he is already trying to stand up...won't be long!

He absolutely adores Jack the Cat, and squeals whenever he sees him. Of course, Jack, in true "dude" form, will pass right in front of him and stay just out of reach to drive nuts. When he does get a hold of him, Jack is pretty patient with him.

Mason is eating well. He is still nursing while also eating a variety of mashed fruits and vegetables, some soft cubes of food and even small pieces of poultry. He loves it all!

Mason is still going to bed around 7 p.m. and wakes up at 6 a.m., but will often nurse and then go back to sleep for another 30 mins or so. Lately, Hunter has been waking up and going into Mason's room, waking him up. When that happens, no one gets back to sleep!

Life has been crazy hectic, but we wouldn't change a thing. These two little guys put the biggest smiles on our faces each and every day! We just can't get enough of them!
